Course Outline 

A Level Mathematics includes both pure mathematics, statistics and mechanics. In particular, students learn the essential pure mathematical methods that can be applied to real world scenarios. 

Content Covered in Year 12: 

3 units cover the solving of equations, graphs and transformations, coordinate geometry, logarithms and exponentials, sequences and series, trigonometry and the formation of differentiation and integration. 

Assessment (A Level)

Paper 1: 2 hour written examination (33.3% of A Level) 

Paper 2: 2 hour written examination (33.3% of A Level) 

Paper 3: 2 hour written examination (33.3% of A Level)
