KS4 EXAM RESULTS 2023-4

As you can see from the results below, LBTS outperformed the National Figure for 2022-3, which are expected to be higher than those for 2023-4. In addition, there were amazing success stories from our 2023-4 cohort:

  • 10% of students achieved at least 1 grade 9 (nationally this figure is 3%)

  • 23% achieved at least 1 grade 8

  • 41% achieved at least 1 grade 7

  • 7 students in English GCSE achieved A grade 9!

  • No gaps for BCRB or PP students compared to others, despite national significant gaos for these students

  • Kien achieved ALL GCSEs at grade 8 and 9

  • Carmel achieved 6 GCSEs at grade 8 and 9

  • Sharon achieved 10 GCSEs at grade 7,8 & 9 

  • Haifa achieved ALL GCSEs at grade  7,8 & 9 

  • Sonia, Sinead & Jahira all achieved 5 GCSEs at grade  7,8 & 9 

  • Fatima got a grade 9 in BOTH English Literature & English Language!

  • 57% of students achieved at least one grade A*-B and/or D*-M

  • 78% of students achieved at least one grade A*-C and/or D*-M

  • 97%  of students achieved at least 1 A Level at grade A*-E and/or 1 BTEC grade of D*-P

  • BCRB & BAFR students outperformed peers, despite gaps at national levels for these groups

  • All students who applied to university progressed there, including over half to Top Tier universities, including Oxford!
