Thursday the 9th March saw the fantastic 'Studio Big Band' from Trinity Laban Conservatoire for Music and Dance come into LBTS to perform for a selected group of students. Our students were able to hear a number of different Jazz standards along with being able to have a Q&A with the Trinity students themselves; asking questions such as, "What does it take to get into a specialist music school", "What made you start playing Jazz" and "Which Jazz musician inspired you the most when you were growing up?".
The Big Band were incredibly kind in letting some of our students sit in the band with them during their performance and give them their first experience of being in a Big Band. The photo below is of the Big Band in their rehearsals warming up before the show started.
