The year 12 Biologists attended a taster day at Brunel University where they got several immersive experiences, including, helping to diagnose a patient with dementia, through medical history taking and testing as well as genetic testing. They also experienced what it is like to have physical and visual impairments and make plans how to make life easier for those who live with disabilities. Students also experienced a typical day for many allied health careers.
