February is LGBT+ History Month and at LBTS, as part of our commitment to being an anti-oppressive school, we will be celebrating the LGBT+ community throughout the month. The aim of LGBT+ History Month is to highlight and celebrate the history and achievements of everyone in the community, past and present; raising awareness and supporting the fight for equality. At LBTS we will be spending time in morning registration and in lessons discussing issues in a respectful way and celebrating role models in the LGBT+ community. 

LBTS has also signed up for The Rainbow Flag Award hich supports schools to become LGBT+ inclusive. Find out more here .
