PUPIL PREMIUM
BackThe Government believes that Pupil Premium is the best way to ensure that funding to tackle disadvantage reaches the students who need it most.
- The Government calculates the amount the school receives by allocating a set amount of money to the school for each child who receives free school meals now or in the past and all looked after children
- The Government has stated that it is for schools to decide how the Pupil Premium is spent.
- New measures have been included in the Government performance tables that show the achievement of those pupils covered by the Pupil Premium.
