Worshipful Company of Information Technologists (WCIT) Dinner

15 students from year 12 were invited by the “Worshipful Company of Information Technologists” (WCIT) where they had an opportunity to experience a formal dinner, as well as present their views to an audience of industry experts and to the hosts of WCIT in regards to Chat GPT.
The students took on the challenge with utmost professionalism, showing dedication and resilience. They demonstrated excellent knowledge, research skills, great team work and this really was evident on the day of presentations and won over the audience.
Our host, WCIT, was so impressed with each group presentations and especially the answers they gave during the Q&A session at the end.
Although some students were very nervous to present, they were given an overwhelming amount of praise and performed brilliantly.
Some comments from the audience include, "The content was excellent and the students did the school proud. One of the recommendations was world class and not one I have heard before. I'm proposing to mention at the next international Bias in AI event I attend, obviously crediting the students with the idea. Overall Exceptional performance from all groups and we would love to welcome them back in the future to join our company"
The students made us very proud as sixth form and are a huge asset to our school!
