Last half-term, the LBTS5 theme of the school is Identity. Year 7 have been focusing on disabilities. Each week,Year 7 put their leadership skills to the test by planning and presenting an assembly. We looked at the following and homed in on our own experiences/knowledge of each disability:

  • Dyslexia, ADHD, Social Anxiety - By Ethan
  • Autism and Asperger’s - By Denise and Kayeon
  • OCD - By Nehemiah and Kendry. Abdul presented on speech and language and Milyna focused on Down's syndrome.

It is never easy pre-senting to a largecrowd, but the students educated us and done us proud.

Ms Chamberlain was so impressed that she awarded each student with 100 HP.
