8C have been studying water this term, so we took a trip to the River Thames. The purpose of the trip was so that the students can conduct an investigation into how pollution has impacted the River Thames and visualise our learning outside of the classroom. We walked from the London eye to Vauxhall bridge, counting plastic pollution as we walked, generating words to describe the area, and drawing field sketches. Despite the cold we had a successful and fun investigation!
