On Tuesday 17 January Y7 girls took part in a national programme designed to inspire girls into choosing careers in engineering and the sciences. The day involved a number of interactive group activities where students were able to think as engineers and improve their career awareness in this field. The children were inspired by guest speaker Ruth Amos who used a design idea from when she was a Year 11 student to set up her own successful business.
