BEHAVIOUR
Our aim is to allow all students in the school to learn in a safe, secure and stimulating environment by supporting the key values of the school.
We expect all students:
- To follow instructions from members of staff first time
- To arrive on time to all their lessons
- To be prepared for work. On entry to a classroom, students should hang up their coat and bag on the hooks provided
- To complete all class work and homework to the best of their ability
- To respect one another
- To keep hands, feet and personal comments to themselves
- To look after the school building, equipment and other people's property
- Chewing gum is not allowed anywhere in school
LBTS BUILDING RULES
- Walk sensibly; follow the one way system!
- Do not call over the balconies
- Never shout, eat or use a phone in the building
LBTS CANTEEN RULES
- Come to the canteen when your Tutor Group is called and wait quietly to enter
- Clear away after your meal: use the bins provided
LBTS ASSEMBLY RULES
- Enter and leave the hall quietly
- Sit quietly in your Tutor Group row in the hall
LBTS PLAYGROUND RULES
- Go straight to class when the lesson "pips" sound
- Remember: ball games can be played only on the courts
REWARDS FOR PUTTING LEARNING FIRST
Students can earn rewards during lessons which add up to various prizes.
Reward points can be collected along with Caught Doing the Right Thing vouchers.
A one reward point voucher is awarded for:
- Following instructions throughout the lesson
- Making an effort to succeed
- Helping others with their work
- A ten reward points voucher is awarded for:
- 100% attendance and punctuality in a week
- An outstanding piece of work
- Every three weeks to every student with no behaviour points
Claiming rewards:
- Students must save their reward points at home
- They can cash them in after school on Thursday in the General Office
